🇺🇲Calorie is energy. Our weight is directly related to the amount of calories we ingest. To lose weight, the individual must ingest fewer calories than he or she spends, having a negative daily calorie balance, while the opposite is true for gaining weight. Following this logic, it would be possible for an individual who spends 2000Kcal per day to lose weight by ingesting 1500Kcal of McDonalds and gain weight by ingesting 2500Kcal of healthy food. Would this then be the answer to losing fat? No! Weight and body fat are different things. There are several factors that contribute to fat loss and lean mass gain, such as the amount of protein ingested and insulin sensitivity. That’s why you need a calculated eating plan to reach your goal in a healthy and precise way.
